E-Commerce Innovation & Project Manager

Description

The "E-commerce Innovation & Project Manager" contributes to the eCommerce's commercial success by end-to-end management and implementation of projects and project activities related to enhancements, expansion and optimization. He/she evaluates market and industry trends against current eCommerce proposition; analyses, proposes and leads the respective innovation agenda.

• Manage eCommerce-related project work end-to-end in collaboration with internal teams, agencies, brand partners and other external parties in order to generate incremental value and to keep adding a competitive edge to QDFC's eCommerce proposition. These projects include but aren't limited to:

• Implementing product enhancements to QDFC's eCommerce and Digital platforms

• Launching additional online services and/or platforms for QDFC

• Expanding QDFC's online platform into new markets

• Surfacing QDFC's online platform through other digital platforms, marketplaces, etc.

• Overseeing from the business team's perspective transitions of certain areas of QDFC's eCommerce eco-system to new platforms/solutions, and so on.

• Regularly performs market, shopper and consumer trend analysis and competition benchmark checks in order to propose and maintain an up-to-date innovation plan for QDFC eCommerce.

• Perform regular audits of the current eCommerce proposition of the company in order to identify areas for improvement and potential needs for change/innovation.

• Ensure timely compliance of projects with internal processes and standards - Data Protection / Cyber Security / Legal standards, Procurement processes, Reporting and Budgeting requirements, etc.

• Participate in the evaluation process for innovations via preparing and presenting initial business cases and post-implementation analysis, in order to ensure constant commercial value improvement.

• Oversee and coordinates the novelty selection process for QDFC's eCommerce assortment together with Procurement, in order to maintain an appealing and up-to-date product/brand selection proposition online.

• Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualification

About you

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Experience in Digital/eCommerce project management with a strong portfolio of cross-functional projects

• Experience managing and delivering results through external parties (agencies, suppliers) Experience working for a multi-brand online retailer

• Experience working with similar categories as QDFC (e.g. FMCG, high-end beauty, fashion, etc.) and/or with the same brands
