We are seeking a Welder who will be responsible for performing high-quality weld repair works oncrusher rotors and heavy rotating equipment using approved welding procedures.Candidate must be skilled in GMAW and SMAW processes, multi-pass welding, allwelding positions, and heat control requirements to ensure structural integrityand equipment reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Performweld repair of crusher rotors and heavy rotating equipment components.
• Executegroove and fillet welds in all positions as per approved WPS.
• Carryout multi-pass welding using GMAW root and SMAW fill/cap methods.
• Maintainrequired preheat and interpass temperatures during welding.
• Inspectweld quality and coordinate with QA/QC for testing requirements.
• Ensureproper grinding, preparation, fit-up, and final finishing.
• Followall workshop/site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintainwelding tools, machines, and consumables in safe working condition.
  

Requirements

• Valid ASMESection IX Welding Qualification Test (WQT) mandatory.
• Provenexperience with:
• ER80S-Ni2(1.6 mm) – GMAW
• E8018-C1(3.2 mm) – SMAW
• Qualifiedfor all positions (groove & fillet welding).
• Familiarwith Preheat 120°C – 150°C and interpass temperature control.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment / rotating equipmentrepair.
• Abilityto read WPS, follow welding procedures, and maintain quality standards.
