Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Intensive Care Physician to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), managing complex medical conditions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Perform advanced critical care procedures, including airway management, endotracheal intubation, central venous and arterial catheter insertion, and ventilator management.
• Monitor and manage patients with life-threatening conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Coordinate patient care with emergency medicine physicians, anesthesiologists, surgeons, internists, and other specialists.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and hemodynamic monitoring to guide clinical decision-making.
• Lead rapid response and resuscitation efforts when required.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection prevention programs, clinical audits, and continuing medical education (CME).
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and ethical medical practice.
