Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor for Roads & Infrastructure projects in Doha, Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for conducting land and construction surveys, verifying project coordinates and levels, preparing survey reports, and supporting site engineering teams during project execution.

Candidates must have strong experience in infrastructure and road projects. Experience only in building, residential, commercial, or oil & gas projects will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land and topographic surveys for infrastructure and road projects.
• Perform setting out, leveling, alignment, and as-built surveys.
• Verify coordinates, elevations, and dimensions at site.
• Operate survey instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related equipment.
• Prepare survey reports, drawings, and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams for survey activities.
• Ensure all survey works are carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor survey accuracy and maintain calibration of survey equipment.
• Assist in quantity calculations and measurement verification.
• Ensure compliance with project quality and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects.
• Experience in roadworks, utilities, drainage, highways, or infrastructure projects is mandatory.
• Proficient in using Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and surveying software.
• Good knowledge of survey calculations, coordinates, and leveling.
• Familiar with Qatar construction standards and site procedures.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Qatar driving license is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with consultants or infrastructure contractors.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing software.
• Ability to work independently and manage site survey activities efficiently.
