Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, automating, and supporting enterprise-scale hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud security, Microsoft Defender technologies, identity management, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery, and infrastructure modernization. This role requires extensive hands-on experience delivering complex infrastructure and security projects while ensuring compliance with industry security standards and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, manage, secure, and maintain enterprise-scale hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premises and Microsoft Azure.
• Build and support enterprise infrastructure including:
  • Compute

• Design and implement secure hybrid cloud architectures aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver complex infrastructure deployment, migration, modernization, and security projects.
• Administer Windows Server environments and enterprise Active Directory infrastructure.
• Configure and manage:
  • Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
  • Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • DNS
  • FSMO Roles
  • Replication
  • PKI & Certificate Services
  • Azure Identity / Microsoft Entra ID

• Design and implement enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions using:

• Lead Data Centre migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Perform Windows Server and SQL Server migrations, including modernization to Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Implement and support enterprise device management solutions.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft security solutions across hybrid environments.
• Implement Zero Trust architecture and cloud security best practices.
• Monitor, optimize, and secure enterprise cloud infrastructure.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Provide Level 3/Level 4 infrastructure support and technical leadership.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and application teams to ensure secure, resilient, and highly available environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of enterprise infrastructure experience .
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience deploying and managing endpoint security, cloud security, and identity solutions.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale hybrid infrastructure and cloud security projects.
