Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Engineer to manage, secure, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring network availability, implementing security solutions, supporting cloud networking, and maintaining a secure and reliable IT environment. This role requires strong expertise in network security technologies, firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, and cloud networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related network devices.
- Ensure high availability, redundancy, performance, and reliability of the enterprise network.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain network security policies, firewalls, IPS/IDS, and other security solutions.
- Administer and support security platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent technologies.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless, and Internet connectivity issues.
- Support hybrid cloud networking and connectivity across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar cloud environments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, configuration records, and change management documentation.
- Provide on-call support and participate in incident response activities as required.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to support infrastructure projects, upgrades, and network optimization initiatives.
- Perform routine health checks, system monitoring, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal network performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in enterprise network and security engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience managing enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions.
