Senior Oracle NetSuite Developer

 

Minimum Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience, including SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.x (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet, Workflow Action scripts).

• Strong experience designing and developing integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems using SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP), RESTlets, and middleware (Celigo, Boomi, or equivalent); ability to scale up to 20+ integrations in a single programme.

• Demonstrable experience packaging and publishing SuiteApps under the Built for NetSuite (BFN) programme, including SuiteBundler / SDF, IP isolation, and Oracle BFN review requirements.

• Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics (Saved Searches, Datasets, Workbooks), and SuiteBuilder customisation.

 

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and SuiteScript 2.x development skills, with attention to performance, governance limits, and error handling.

• Solid understanding of REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0 / TBA authentication, and integration design patterns (sync, async, queue, retry).

• Ability to design reusable, configurable integration frameworks rather than one-off scripts, suitable for productisation as BFN SuiteApps.

• Working knowledge of SQL and NetSuite's underlying data model for reporting and data-extract integrations.

• Effective communication skills, especially for working with onsite Techno-Functional resources, integration partners, and client technical teams.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

• NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certification required; NetSuite Administrator certification preferred.

• Familiarity with Oracle's Built for NetSuite (BFN) certification process and SDF-based deployment is a strong advantage.

• Highly analytical, with the ability to design integration architectures that scale to 20+ endpoints.

• Adaptable and quick to learn new SuiteApps, APIs, and third-party platforms encountered in the Company’s integrations.

• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work both independently on technical builds and collaboratively with the wider delivery team.
