BMS Supervisor

As a BMS Supervisor, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling the operation of the building management system and overseeing all building machines activities through the BMS Software Platform. Your role includes key responsibilities as described below.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a team of BMS operators and BMS technicians for day-to-day work.
• Report to the BMS Engineer on system status on a scheduled basis and update the team progress completion report.
• Work on basic HVAC network systems, including fiber optic networks and building management communication network configuration.
• Use temperature and relative humidity meters, data loggers, electrical voltage and amp meters.
• Collaborate with HVAC and plumbing field technicians to facilitate repairs and maintenance of HVAC and plumbing equipment.
• Coordinate with the respective department for corrective maintenance.
• Assist other maintenance team members when required.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and handle follow‑up.
• Analyze plant behavior concerning set points and set up control parameters.
• Conduct daily auditing of plant performance using the BMS (data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.).
• Analyze reasons for plant failures, provide diagnostic and problem analysis, and specify necessary remedial actions for Engineer/Supervisor approval.

Job Experience

• Minimum 2‑3 years of previous experience in the same role and proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Minimum 1 year in GCC preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
