The Role:

You would be a leader in our F&B team helping the colleagues reach their potential and helping to supervise the team, Also supervise restaurant operations and to ensure that restaurants run smoothly, responsibilities include train and supervise restaurant staff, ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations, and resolve customer complaints, in the absence of Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Assistant Manager

Duties & Responsbilities

• To deputize the Manager in attending all meetings required according to meetings schedule
• To assist the Manager in implementing SOP throughout the restaurant
• To respond proactively to guest queries and to ensure appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager, followed by effective communication
• To report and follow up all maintenance defaults effecting efficient and professional delivery of service
• To ensure that guest satisfaction is monitored and where appropriate, rectified throughout their meal experience
• To communicate with head chef in order to share information and ensure smooth running of service
• To ensure that mise en place positioning is completed accurately and monitored to ensure that appropriate stocks are available
• To prepare table plans according to reservations and to ensure that tables are constantly cleared and reset according to the reservation plan
• To meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner
• To take guest food and beverage requirements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in service delivery
• To prepare and present accurate bills
• To display exemplary knowledge of all food and beverage items served
• To ensure service and Back of House areas are kept clean at all times and work will be conducted according to our Health and Safety standards
• To handle administrative duties, i.e. payroll, holidays, rotas in accordance with hotel policies and procedures
• To ensure service is delivered according to our Values
• To handle guest comments and complaints in the appropriate manner and communicate to Restaurant Management
• To ensure that relevant grooming standards adhered to, both personally and by the team, reflecting a professional image for our guests
