About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Commercial Strategy Department in Doha, the Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing, communications, public relations, partnership and brand strategies that enhance the hotel's positioning, reputation and commercial performance. The role oversees media relations, content development, marketing campaigns, events, partnerships and CSR initiatives while ensuring all activities align with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group brand standards. The Marketing Communications Manager reports to the Director of Commercial Strategy.

As Marketing Communications Manager, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Developing and implementing integrated Marketing & Communications strategies aligned with business objectives and brand standards.
• Driving brand visibility, reputation and positioning through media relations, content, partnerships, campaigns and consumer marketing initiatives.
• Managing public relations activities, media enquiries, press visits, influencer collaborations and agency relationships.
• Leading the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, brand activations and CSR initiatives.
• Developing compelling content across all communication channels while ensuring consistency of brand messaging and visual identity.
• Managing marketing performance reporting, campaign analysis, budgets and annual marketing planning.
• Collaborating with Commercial, Revenue, Operations, Spa and Food & Beverage teams to support revenue-generating initiatives.
• Building strategic partnerships that enhance guest engagement, awareness and market presence.

As Marketing Communications Manager, we expect from you:

• Minimum 5-7 years' experience within luxury hospitality, luxury retail, tourism, lifestyle brands or agency environments.
• Proven experience in Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Brand Management and partnership development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality, affluent travel markets and brand storytelling.
• Experience managing media relations, agencies, events, sponsorships and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Strong leadership, project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
