Job Overview A leading organization is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to lead Health, Safety and Environmental operations across a large-scale facilities management contract. The successful candidate will oversee HSE compliance, develop safety strategies, manage audits and investigations, and ensure adherence to local regulations and international standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the project's HSE Management System.
- Ensure compliance with company, client and statutory HSE requirements.
- Lead risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Oversee contractor HSE compliance.
- Lead internal and external HSE audits.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare monthly HSE reports.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programmes.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related discipline.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (Mandatory).
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor.
- ISO 14001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor.
- Training in:
- Risk Assessment
- Incident Investigation
- Emergency Response
- Fire Safety
- Permit to Work Systems
- Minimum 8 years' relevant HSE experience.
- Minimum 3 years in an HSE Manager or Supervisory position.
- Experience within one or more of the following:
- Facilities Management
- Industrial Operations
- Logistics
- Warehousing
- Food Storage
- Port Operations
- High-risk operational environments
- Integrated Management Systems (IMS)
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- Contractor HSE Management
- Risk Assessment
- Incident Investigation
- Emergency Preparedness
- Audit Management
- HSE Performance Reporting
- Client & Authority Liaison
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
