About the team:

Scale is growing rapidly, and joining the International Public Sector team is an opportunity to work on one of the most rapidly expanding teams at Scale. This team is responsible for generating, executing, and fostering Scale’s work outside of the United States.

About the role:

As Engagement Manager, you will establish deep customer and prospect relationships, proactively identify opportunities to build custom AI applications that improve lives for citizens and residents, oversee execution to ensure timelines are met and communicated effectively, interface with premier research institutions, and partner with organizations that train and educate people on AI and AI safety.

You will work closely with the business development, go‑to‑market, product, engineering, and clients to ensure success.

The role will be based in the Middle East and focuses on expanding the presence in that region.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify high‑value use cases for custom LLMs within government entities.
• Partner with clients to understand their pressing problems and brainstorm solutions.
• Maintain long‑term client health by identifying and preempting risks or concerns.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, triage questions, issues, or concerns.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to track delivery and timelines.
• Review, track, and improve operational performance and pursue continuous improvement.
• Brainstorm with premier research institutions building Arabic LLMs to support them and identify ideas to test.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic.

Qualifications

• 4+ years total work experience, with consulting or technical program management background.
• Experience at a Big 3 Consulting Firm or leading tech company.
• Proven track record in B2B client‑facing roles and expanding client relationships.
• Ability to understand APIs and the ML training lifecycle and build relationships with technical customers.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Track record of structured, analytics‑driven problem solving.
• History of diligence and organization across multiple work streams.
• Action‑oriented mindset that balances creative problem solving with pragmatic delivery.
• Analytical, planning, and process improvement capability.
