Mechanical Technician (Major - Turbomachinery)

- Mechanical maintenance and Troubleshooting activities in thecontinuous operation plants for all major types of rotating and staticmechanical equipment.
- Installation, removal, fixing back and maintenance of Pumps& Blowers, compressors, fans, Turbines, all types of Valves, Vessels,Columns, Exchangers, Pipes, and other static equipment.
- Carry out maintenance activity independently as necessary.Handling different types of tools used for maintenance activities and work inhigh elevation with adequate safety protective equipment.
- Check work quality and take corrective action to rectify thedetected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
- Thorough understanding of the Isometrics, mechanicaldrawings and datasheets.
- Cleaning, preserving & maintaining the removed parts ofthe equipment.
- Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance managementsystem).
- Good HSEQ (health safety environment & quality) recordin his past working.
- Read, understand, and execute the jobs as per standardoperating procedure/ work instruction.
- Comply with all relevant procedures comprising ofOccupational Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, Responsible Care, IFAProduct Stewardship & energy Management System.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 06 years relevant and hands-on experience in MechanicalEngineering in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry.
- Technicians shall have working level proficiency of Read,Write, speak and Understand competency in English language.
- Shall be well familiar with the hazardous chemicals /materials used in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry, theirhazards, and safe practices to perform the Installation/Maintenance activitysafely.
- Shall always adhere to the Safety requirements.
- Shall have knowledge about PTW (permit to work) system inlarge scale industries and shall pass COMPANY’s PTW as well as PTW acceptanceauthorization post training assessment tests.
- Shall understand and work within the framework of COMPANY’sMaintenance, HSEQ Policy, procedures and regulations.
