HVAC/CRAC Technician

HVAC/CRAC Technician – work in a fast‑paced environment performing monitoring and troubleshooting of facility equipment and operations, including chillers, air conditioning, ventilation, and structural repairs. Responsible for supervising field inspections, assisting craftspeople, and scheduling preventive maintenance assignments and work orders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintain good customer relations to provide assistance to company and customer representatives.
• Respond to after‑hour calls and work requirements.
• Cooperate and support IAP policies.
• Meet OSHA requirements for lifting 50 pounds and be in adequate physical condition.
• Operate company vehicle safely when required and hold a valid current driver’s license.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial/industrial HVAC/R systems.
• Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) Systems EPA Universal Certification required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair CRAC systems.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑up.
• Capacity to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer service oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of safety rules, practices, and environmental policies.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Valid U.S. Passport preferred.
• Must meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements and be able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar.
• Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
• Endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.

TRAVEL

• 100% travel required to deployed location.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

• Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
