Overview Of The Role:

The Sales Associate is tasked with driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves meeting store operational needs as directed by store management, including maintaining store cleanliness and adhering to visual standards. Success in this role is measured by the ability to generate sales, create a welcoming environment, and efficiently manage customer transactions.

What You Will Do:

Customer Service

 

• Greet customers immediately as they enter the store with a smile and warm non-business-like greeting.
• Provide customers with current relevant information about the products.
• Thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them to return.

 

Sales Operations

 

• Provide efficient and friendly service at the cash wrap.
• Offer gift cards and maintain cleanliness at the cash wrap area.
• Capture customer information in the database.

 

Store Maintenance

 

• Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Uphold visual presentation standards as directed by store management.

 

Product Assistance

 

• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, following up with customers in a timely manner.
• Attempt to add on to sales by suggesting additional products to customers.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in handling cash transactions and maintaining data accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School Degree.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting and stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
