Painting Inspector- QE Approved

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and coating application as per approved project specifications.
- Verify surface cleanliness, surface profile, and environmental conditions before and during painting.
- Inspect primer, intermediate, and final coating applications.
- Conduct and verify Wet Film Thickness (WFT) and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements.
- Perform or witness holiday testing, adhesion testing, and other coating inspections as required.
- Verify paint materials, batch numbers, expiry dates, and compliance with approved coating procedures.
- Identify coating defects, raise non-conformance reports, and monitor corrective actions.
- Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid QE-LNG Approved Painting Inspector is mandatory.
- Relevant experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, or industrial painting and coating inspection.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, protective coating systems, DFT/WFT measurement, and coating inspection standards.
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, and inspection procedures.
- Relevant technical qualification and coating inspection certification as required by the project.
