Internal Communication

Shipyard Personnel.

Purpose

To communicate with other section people during work, with people inside the organization, and to partners in the region during work.

External Communication

N/A.

Occupational Health & Safety and Environment

Accountability: Are accountable for their acts and omissions.

Responsibility: To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses.

Authority: To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all kinds of machine works.
• Operating all kinds of machines in the shipyard such as milling machine, lathe machine, shaping machine, slotting machine, etc.
• Reading drawings of all jobs.
• Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the divisions Quality Assurance procedures and Quality Manuals.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Education & Professional Qualification: I.T.I. training or Technical training school certificate in the trade of machinist.

Professional Experience: 5-10 year experience in a similar trade, heavy engineering industries experience in machining required, shipyard experience preferred, experience certificate from heavy engineering organizations.

Geographic Experience: Records of good company work experience.
