# Sr. Structural/Civil Engineer# Sr. Structural/Civil Engineer**Job Location:** Qatar**Job Type:** Full Time**Scope of Work:**• Maintains daily diaries of events associated with the work on site by using ECG related form. • Study drawings, specification and contractual obligations, keeping abreast of all revisions. • Monitor the work being undertaken by Site Engineers and Site Supervisors, taking any necessary remedial action to ensure full compliance with Contract documents, specifications, method statements, policies and procedures. • Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise • Ensure that work practices are compliant with policies and procedures i.e. local labor laws and Safety procedures taking appropriate corrective action and/or reporting where non-compliance is identified. • Monitors, reviews, comments and reports on progress payments, quality control and safety. • Take a decision related to the conflicts between proposed material samples and literature submitted by contractors against the contract specifications, drawings, BOQ and costing. • Evaluate and recommend sub-contractor’s manufacturer and their technical staff in coordination with the client’s representative for his discipline. • Identifying any part of a design which may adversely affect the constructability or operability of project and suggesting alternative approaches the design process • Identifying any item of the design, which my adversely affect the operation of the facility and seeking out a remedy to the problem early in the construction phase. • Assists the Site Project Manager in preparing the Monthly Progress Reports. • Reviews and approves the As Built Drawings for final approval by Site Project Manager. • Assists in preparing the Final Acceptance and Completion Report. • Reviews and presents the Contractors Valuations Payments for final approval by Site Project Manager. • Witnesses and supervises commissioning and start-up activities. • Studies and gives comments on the Contractors Claims.More than 20 years of experience## Apply for this positionAfghan▾Allowed Type(s): .pdf #J-18808-Ljbffr
