We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Material Controller in Qatar . Our client is seeking skilled and motivated professionals with experience in material planning, coordination, procurement, and ERP-based material management. Candidates with hands-on experience using SAP or another ERP system and a strong understanding of material control processes are encouraged to apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, issuance, and movement of materials according to operational requirements.
- Monitor material requirements and support material planning activities to maintain adequate stock availability.
- Maintain accurate material records and transaction details using SAP or other ERP systems.
- Coordinate with procurement teams regarding purchase requirements, pending materials, and delivery schedules.
- Track inventory levels and identify shortages, excess stock, or discrepancies requiring corrective action.
- Verify material documentation and ensure proper identification, coding, and traceability of materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, operations, and project teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Prepare material status reports and update stakeholders regarding stock availability and outstanding requirements.
Required Skills
- Material Planning: Ability to review requirements and coordinate material availability according to operational needs.
- Material Coordination: Experience handling movement, receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Procurement Coordination: Ability to follow purchase requirements and coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers.
- SAP / ERP: Practical experience recording and monitoring material transactions using SAP or another ERP platform.
- Inventory Control: Knowledge of maintaining accurate stock records and identifying inventory discrepancies.
Preferred Skills
- Material requirement planning and stock monitoring.
- Documentation and material traceability.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning, material coordination, procurement, or a closely related role. Candidates should have practical exposure to SAP or another ERP system for material-related transactions and records.
Education
Minimum: ITI or Trade Apprenticeship / Higher Secondary Education
Preferred: Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
