Trainee - Finance

Accountability: Are accountable for their acts and omissions. Responsibility: To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses. Authority: To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.
Responsibilities
- Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
- Gaining knowledge of company policies and processes.
- Fulfilling any requirements and meeting goals set out at the start of the training.
- Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
- Completing succesfully all necessary assessments, as guided and required.
- Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
- Taking detailed notes and liaising with Managers, Supervisors, and other Senior staff.
- Preparing all requested documents, materials and updating records.
- Performing all the administrative support, such as printing, setting up materials, rooms, etc. as requested from their supervisors.
- Researching and assisting their supervisor in identifying areas for service or process improvements.
- Writing and presenting regular updates to management.
- Completing fieldwork or visiting different work sites when required.
- Maintaining communication with supervisors and attending periodic evaluations.
- Maintaining and developing a positive working relationship with employees.
- Performing all other job related duties, as assigned.
