Site QAQC Engineer - Mechanical

Responsibilities

• MEP QAQC Management : Oversee QA/QC activities for Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Plumbing systems.
  

• Inspection & Testing : Conduct site inspections, verify installations, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  

• ITP Implementation : Develop and enforce Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for mechanical and MEP works.
  

• Materials Inspection : Review and approve material submittals, conduct incoming material inspections, and verify compliance with standards.
  

• Testing & Commissioning : Supervise mechanical and MEP system testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
  

• NCR Management : Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective actions until closure.
  

• Documentation : Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, test certificates, and compliance documentation.
  

• Compliance Monitoring : Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and client requirements.
  

• Coordination : Liaise with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve QA/QC issues.
  

• Continuous Improvement : Recommend improvements in QA/QC processes to enhance project quality.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science / Engineering in Mechanical Engineering .
  

• Minimum 7–10 years of QA/QC experience in Mechanical and MEP projects.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, QA/QC procedures, and international codes (ASME, ASTM, ISO, NFPA) .
  

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation software .
  

• Ability to independently manage inspections, NCRs, and compliance monitoring.
  

• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
