Job Description
Responsibilities
Organize and oversee the various outlets. Ensure quality of food, beverage, service and ambiance. Maintain proper staffing and timeliness of various outlets.
- Operate within Forbes 5-star standards and hold team accountable to these standards on a daily basis.
- Display a congenial appearance and is well groomed at all times.
- Assisting the department manager in development, implementation and maintenance of outlet service standards.
- Training both group and in one on ones to stress service standards, safety, and product knowledge
- Coordinates all service staff for all meal periods in the outlets during the shift
- Monitor set up and maintenance of department to ensure all side work is complete.
- Perform all other administrative functions required and communicate information to the department manager as needed.
- Work in safe manner at all times and follow all safety procedures as outlined in your Standards of Conduct and Loss Prevention Manual
- Knowledge of the food and beverage menus offered in the outlets
- Must be able to correctly ID guests when ordering alcohol either at tables or at the bar.
- To be able to conduct Safety awareness topics.
- Assist in organization of back of house storage areas, office, liquor rooms and beer coolers.
Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Organization skills and ability to adapt quickly to any given situation.
- 2-year experience in bar or high-volume restaurant in a similar restaurant/bar environment.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional guest recovery skills.
- Strong Micros knowledge and experience
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- All of the above to be done fluently in English.
