Electrical Technician

Responsibilities:

• Adherence to quality, health & safety, information security and business continuity policies.
• Work on-site to perform all types of electrical maintenance activities assigned by the supervisor.
• Comply with all health and safety rules and practices at the site.
• Ensure all assigned inspections are carried out and that any issues are identified and promptly reported to the
supervisor.
• Ensure all work is completed of high quality and within the planned schedule.
• Prepare work completion reports and checklists as required.
• Submit work completion and progress reports to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of the worksite upon completion of activities
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices within
the team.
• Report near misses, unsafe acts, and safety incidents promptly to supervisors and assist in mitigation activities.
• Promote a safety-first culture by strictly following safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities.
• Comply with standard work instructions provided by the supervisor.
• Perform any other duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager as per the business requirements.

Requirements:

• ITI Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant or similar industrial experience.
• Basic command of the English language preferred.
