Waiter/Waitress

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing professional and courteous food and beverage service to guests while ensuring a positive dining experience. The role includes taking orders, serving meals and beverages, maintaining table presentation, and responding promptly to guest requirements.

• Greet guests professionally and assist them with seating when required.
  
• Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
  
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams.
  
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
  
• Prepare and maintain table settings before, during, and after service.
  
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally.
  
• Process bills and payments accurately where required.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the dining and service areas.
  
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and company service standards.
  Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel or established restaurant.
  
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  
• Experience in order taking, table service, and guest handling.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Customer-focused and professional attitude.
  
• Good grooming and personal hygiene.
  
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
  
• Basic knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
  
• Must have valid QID and Food Handler Certificate.
