This position is tasked with estimating projects at all levels while interacting with the team members, clients and vendors.
This position requires flexibility, resourcefulness and the ability to adapt.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PURPOSE

Identifying the company's capabilities and availability of resources prior to quoting an enquiry.
Coordinating site visits for the purpose of conducting a survey to provide a full understanding of the scope of works prior to estimating the job.
Compile techno-commercial proposal as per client requirement and presenting to Group Estimating Manager for approval and submitting the proposals.
To assist procurement department in timely obtaining quotes.
Ensuring that all enquires are dealt with in a timely manner and that tenders are submitted prior to the submission date & time.
Ensuring all relevant codes and standards which have been referenced are understood and covered with in quotation.
Review clients purchase order for any deviation from bid / quotation and get the purchase order corrected before the acceptance.
After acceptance of the client purchase order, conduct kick off meeting if required with operations and other departments.
Responsible to adhere and follow the implemented Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policy, objectives and procedures.
Responsible to have reasonable care towards the environment and contribute in energy savings and waste reduction.
Seek and build relationships with potential and current clients vendors with prospective clients.
Review project drawings and specifications to verify scope of work
Put together submittals and submit to the customer
Manage specific designs from an external provider.
Quote all works sites and projects with support from the team as required, following up where required
Maintain and update the quote register on a weekly basis
Update the marketing register on a weekly basis.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

Candidate should be experienced in coordinating with customers to bid, plan, and complete technical / commercial and industrial construction projects.
Candidate should have experience in tracking the status of the project through completion, analyzing productivity and keeping productivity records for estimating.
To communicate effectively both written and verbal
To be able to work under pressure.
Adaptable in methods used to complete task
Should be experienced to preform detailed quality takeoffs, get material pricing, and apply labor cost
Must have strong Microsoft office skills excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook
Experienced in estimating of scaffolding projects
Professional attitude.
Time Management with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Keen Analytical Skills.
Innovative and having a creative approach.
A flexible, proactive, and dynamic teaching approach.
Good interpersonal skills, able to work in multi-cultural and multi-company environment.

WORK LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Work Location: C-Ring Road, Doha Qatar
Travel Requirement: Offshore & Onshore.

Accountable for any estimating system lapse I failure within Madina Group WLL.
Accountable for any delay in submitting Quote I Tenders.
Authorized to prepare tender / quote
