Governess/Head Nanny

Our Clients, a high profile family in Doha, are currently searching for a Governess/Head Nanny to support a team of Nannies looking after four children aged 12, 10, 8, and 4 years old.  Must be able to speak French and English, Arabic is desirable.

It is imperative the candidate has relevant experience gained working for private families and knowledge of child development.

The Client is looking for a candidate who has gained valuable prior experience, is professional and knows how to work with a client with multiple staff.  There are four Nannies charged to the four children and the Head Nanny/Governess's role is to oversee and support them from an educational and development view whilst overseeing and supervising the current Nanny team.

The candidate must be willing to travel - the family tend to travel extensively, including to London, South of France and NY, therefore, the Head Nanny/Governess must be flexible for this.

Duties:

• Overseeing the Nanny team, supervising them and guiding them when needed
• Oversee the children's activies and schedules
• Plan educational activities, support with school work
• Support with their development - helping them understand morals, values and respect

Must:

• Have either a qualication in childcare or similar
• Have extensive experience in similar roles (at least 5 years)
• Have an understanding and experience of working with other staff from different cultures and backgrounds
• Checkable references, and desirably a current DBS (although a new one will be carried out)
• Must be able to speak French and English, Arabic is desirable.

Hours: 6 days per week, 12 hour days

Accommodation: Within the staffing quarters of their large residence. Own bedroom, bathroom and shared staffing areas.  All food and bills included.

Salary: £1,000-£1,200 NET per week
