is seeking a talented and motivated Commis 1 to join our kitchen team. Known for its contemporary yet classic approach to Italian dining, Cecconi’s celebrates authentic flavours, fresh ingredients, and exceptional hospitality.

This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who is enthusiastic about Italian cuisine and committed to delivering outstanding dishes with consistency and care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Italian dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Support the kitchen team during service and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, pasta, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your work area at all times.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Work closely with senior chefs to continuously improve your culinary skills and knowledge.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, preferably in an Italian restaurant or upscale dining environment.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within a professional kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to work.
• Basic understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
