Product Manager
Job Purpose
The Product Manager is responsible for defining the vision and strategy of the product, conducting market research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and launching new products. They will create and maintain a product roadmap, gather requirements, monitor product performance, and stay updated on industry trends. The Product Manager will also act as a subject matter expert, supporting sales and marketing teams with product knowledge and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, computer science, or engineering
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in a similar industry or domain
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make data‑driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in product management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a product manager
Skills
- Ability to define the product vision and strategy based on market research, user feedback, and business objectives
- Proficiency in conducting market research to identify customer needs and translate them into product requirements
- Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing
- Experience in creating and maintaining a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including gathering requirements and providing progress updates
- Ability to analyze product performance metrics and make data‑driven decisions to optimize features and drive user engagement
- Knowledgeable about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to guide product strategy
- Ability to support sales and marketing teams with product knowledge and training
- Familiarity with identifying collaboration and partnership opportunities to enhance the product offering
Key Responsibilities
- Define the product vision and strategy, based on market research, user feedback, and business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to develop and launch new products.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business goals and user needs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and solicit feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, making data‑driven decisions to optimize features and drive user engagement and satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to guide product strategy.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the product, supporting sales and marketing teams with product knowledge and training.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership with other organizations or vendors to enhance the product offering.
- Stay updated on user feedback and incorporate it into future product development cycles.
