Recruitment Officer

Overview

Recruitment Officer at NAKILAT in Doha, Qatar. The Recruitment Officer will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, to support the company’s growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
• Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and experience.
• Conduct interviews and coordinate with department heads to assess the suitability of candidates.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system, ensuring all candidate information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and universities for future talent acquisition.
• Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and candidate satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws during the recruitment process.
• Assist with other HR functions, such as employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Education and Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in the maritime or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and employment laws in Qatar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and HR software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
