Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with strong experience in road works and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination to ensure timely completion of works in accordance with project requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Develop detailed work programs, manpower histograms, resource plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules on a regular basis.
• Identify delays, critical activities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and clients regarding project timelines and progress.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and presentations.
• Track productivity, resource utilization, and project performance indicators.
• Conduct delay analysis and prepare recovery schedules when required.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning support to the project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Planning Engineer.
• Mandatory experience in road works and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office applications.
• Good understanding of construction sequences, methodologies, and project controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• GCC/Qatar experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of project control systems and reporting tools.
• Experience working on Ashghal or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Valid QID and immediate availability preferred.
