The Oracle ERP Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle ERP applications and databases. This role involves installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, and performance optimization to ensure smooth and secure operation of Oracle ERP systems. The administrator will also collaborate with development teams and provide 24/7 support when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle server software and related products.
• Start, stop, and monitor application-related components (oacore, oafm, apache, etc.).
• Perform application restarts (bouncing apache, oacore, oafm) when required.
• Establish and maintain database backup and recovery policies and procedures.
• Design and implement database structures to support ERP applications.
• Implement and maintain database security, including user creation, roles, and privilege management.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and consultation to development teams.
• Interface with Oracle Support for technical issues and resolutions.
• Manage patching, upgrades, and version control of ERP environments.
• Perform database and application tuning for optimal performance.
• Clone development and test environments from production databases.
• Provide 24x7 support as part of the ERP support team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Oracle ERP administration.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP architecture, database design, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience in patch management, backup/recovery, and cloning.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
