Piping Foreman - Offshore Shutdown

ThePiping Foremanleadsoffshore piping crews during shutdowns, ensuring safe and efficient executionof fabrication, installation, repairs, and hydrotesting of pipelines, valves,and supports.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shutdown Execution:

• Supervise pipe fitters, welders, and riggers intasks like:
  • Replacement of corroded pipelines, valves, and flanges.
  • Installation of new spools/modifications perP&IDs/isometrics.
  • Hydrotesting and leak checks.
• Ensure work complies with shutdown schedules(critical path).

2. HSE & Compliance:

• EnforcePTW (Permit to Work),isolation (LOTO), and confined space procedures.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety audits(QatarEnergy/Shell standards).

3. Quality Control:

• Verify alignment, welding (WPS/PQR), andgasket installation perASME B31.3/API 570.
• Oversee NDT (RT/UT) and punch-list closure.

4. Coordination:

• Liaise with shutdown managers, engineers, andother trades (scaffolding, insulation).
• Report progress/roadblocks using SAP orclient-specific systems.
• Manage piping materialinventories and ensure

Requirements

• 8+ years in oil/gas piping, with3+years offshore shutdowns.
• Familiarity withAramco, QP, or Shellshutdown proceduresis a plus.
• Reading isometrics/P&IDs, rigging plans,and stress analysis reports.
• Proficiency inflange managementandbolt-torquing procedures.
