Laundry Service Lead

Reports directly to the Laundry Services Supervisor. Laundry Services Lead may share some of the same duties as their subordinates. Provides daily oversight of laundry staff and may be required to train newly employed laundry workers and provide expert answers to the questions of workers and patrons.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the laundry facilities and staff(direct and subcontracted)
• Providing excellent customer service
• Assist with exchange of linen to services members and guest
• Provide guidance and supervision to workers
• Able to evaluate services provided and report to Laundry Supervisor
• Ensure to maintain and monitor the production schedule, documentation and established standards within allowable time limits
• Reports any maintenance and or service-related issues and problems
• Provide data applicable to daily reports needed by leadership
• Performs other duties and assignments as required

Qualifications

• Education / Certifications:
• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must be Other Country National (OCN)
• Experience:
  • High school diploma preferred, but not required
  • Laundry Attendant experience a plus. Custodial background and basic knowledge of hazardous chemicals and there use in the Leads area of responsibility
• Program Specific Requirements:
  • Must be able to communicate and coordinate activities with a multi-national and culturally diverse work force.
  • Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues as they relate to Laundry Facility Support & Management.
  • Accustomed to dealing at executive level.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
