Job Description

TheB Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the delivery of inventory/assetdemands including generation, receipt, validation, prioritisation, solution,process and progression of demand through the system to achieve contractualrequirements. This includes all tooling and equipment necessary. Coordinate theresolution of issues and priority parts including alternative parts/solutionsvia integrated functional solutions. Uses information and applies a level ofoperational analysis to aid demand management and achieve contractualrequirements.

Core Activities:

• Identify any capability orcapacity issues and work with the Demand Management Specialist to ensureresolution where practical, or escalation, as appropriate.
• Interface with platformmaintenance & upgrade operations to ensure that appropriate and timelydemands are placed on, and responded to by the supply chain. Including the presentation of material supplied to maintenance in appropriate formats andtimescales. The management of calibrated items through the timely return toindustry and return serviceable of assets ensuring testing/tooling capabilityis not compromised.
• Carry out the demand validationprocess, Identify any issues specification, source or process and work with theDemand Management Specialist to ensure resolution where practical, orescalation, as appropriate.
• Carry out the priority managementprocess to meet customer/contract critical demand. Ensure any trends areidentified and escalated, as appropriate.
• Carry out the reporting/metrication capability in order to articulate and manage DemandManagement performance. Ensure any trends are identified and escalated, asappropriate.
• Mentoring the QEAFstaff as they join the MOB Organisation from the Qatar Technical Institute inrepair activities.

Requirements

• This person would be seen as competent inSupply Chain/Maintenance operations working as a joint team and be able todefine the processes, propose improvements and manage those improvements in theday to day running of the operation.
• Understands the Regulatory Framework andits applicability to the Demand Management processes and activities.
• Able to build good relationships withCustomers, Part 145 Organisation(s), Order Book Management, OEMs, Suppliers andthe other key stakeholder’s personnel.
• Have operational knowledge andunderstanding of the platform contract(s), the fleet’s performance and thebusiness key performance metrics.
• Requires a basic functional awareness thatwill be developed over the life cycle of the role. Continuous improvement,capability development and sustainment are also an integral part of the role.
• Requires analysis and planning skillsalong with key relationship building and problem solving skills, able to use appropriateIT systems.
• Valid Driving Licence
• Institute of SupplyChain Management Level 3 or its equivalent is desirable but not essential.
