About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Spa & Wellness Department in Doha, Fitness & Wellness Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to, duties relating to assisting members and maintaining the fitness & wellness equipment, the overall hygiene and cleanliness of the Fitness & Wellness areas, which includes swimming pools. The Fitness & Wellness Assistant reports to the Director of Spa & Wellness.
As Fitness & Wellness Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conduct fitness & wellness classes in a professional manner and according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the department.
- Will be responsible for maintaining the fitness classes and programmes schedules accurately.
- Will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire Fitness & Wellness areas in particular the studios and changing facilities.
- Ensure that all areas are in a neat, tidy and sanitary manner in accordance with the FLHSS&E guidelines.
- Assist in the smooth flow of the guests’ journey throughout the day.
As Fitness & Wellness Assistant, we expect from you:
- Minimum 2 year of experience working in a fitness centre environment
- Previous experience working in a 5-star hotel environment will be an advantage
- Previous experience working in the Middle East Region is an advantage
