Accountant Receivable – Temporary

Department: Non‑Academic Administration

Line Manager: Finance and Administration Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Collections of all outstanding debtors’ receivables
• Raising all revenue invoices and managing deferred income accounting
• Bank processing of all AR transactions and submission of daily balances to the group
• Handling queries with parents and issuing receipts, credit notes, and revised invoices
• Reconciliation of debtor accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining AR aging with comments and current data
• Providing receipt reports for re‑enrolments and new enrolments to Admissions daily
• Preparing all accounts receivable reports for month‑end as per ISP timetable
• Liaising with external auditors on all accounts‑receivable queries
• Preparing reminders and letters of demand for debtors
• Reporting daily and weekly cash balances to ISP
• Acting as a backup for the accountant when required

Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Communicate importance of safety and responsible behaviour to students
• Safeguard students, equipment, materials, and facilities for all school activities
• Implement and uphold all school health and safety rules and procedures
• Assist in enforcing student conduct policies and maintaining a safe learning environment

Position Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution

Experience

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance role

Language

• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage

• Highly detail‑oriented and organized, capable of meeting tight deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office suite
• Accurate record‑keeping and ability to produce auditable reports
