The Opportunity
Stafford Lawrence is seeking a high-calibre Project Manager for our Construction Consultancy client to lead the construction of a prestigious 5,000 m² private villa on The Pearl-Qatar. This landmark project encompasses a basement, four levels of luxury living space, and extensive external works. We are looking for a professional who can take site-based responsibility for the delivery of the superstructure and high-end fit-out. This role will report to the Project Director.
N.B: We are seeing a large number of applications for this role. This is an Intermediate Project Manager role.
- Candidates with more than 20 years of experience need not apply.
- Our client cannot provide visas for anyone over the Qatar retirement age of 60 currently.
NO previous Middle East experience required
Requirements for the Project Manager Job Vacancy Qatar
Education: Degree qualified in Construction Civil Engineering or Architecture from a recognised Western university. This must be a BSc full time degree due to Visa constraints.
Certification: PMP certification is highly preferred. Our client will also consider MRICS or MCIOB certified candidates.
Experience: An intermediate Project Manager. A solid construction background with specific expertise in high-end luxury residential, villa projects or complex, high-spec fit-outs. This must be with a Construction Consultancy organisation. Circa 6-10 Years experience post degree is mandatory.
Skills: Must be a collaborative team player with exceptional client-facing capabilities, as you will be the primary point of contact for the client on-site.
Project Scope
You will manage the end-to-end delivery of this two-year project, working alongside the Project Director ensuring technical excellence and adherence to the high standards required for a private residence of this scale.
Salary & Package for the Project Manager Qatar
25,000 QAR – 32,000 QAR tax‑free total package is based on your experience - Total package means Salary, Accommodation allowance and Transport are included in this figure. The base salary is usually 60% of the total package.
In addition, Mobilisation and demobilisation flights.
Laptop, Mobile Phone, and Visa.
Private Medical Cover.
Annual Bonus as per Qatar law.
