Summary: We are seeking an experienced South Indian Chef to join a reputable hospitality company in Qatar. This role is critical in delivering authentic, high-quality South Indian cuisine across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. The ideal candidate will bring deep culinary expertise in traditional recipes, a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. The chef will play a key role in maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and operational efficiency while contributing to the overall success of the dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic South Indian breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all meals
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
• Manage food preparation, storage, and kitchen organization efficiently
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless daily operations
• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations at all stages of food handling

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a South Indian Chef
• Proven expertise in preparing dosa, idli, vada, appam, puttu, biryani, curries, chutneys, and other traditional South Indian dishes
• Prior experience in hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, or catering industry preferred
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
