Short Term Coating Inspector

Job Summary
Responsible for performing coating and painting inspection activities for industrial projects in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements. Conduct coating inspections, monitor surface preparation activities, and ensure compliance with approved coating procedures and quality standards. Support quality assurance and inspection activities related to protective coating systems and painting operations
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform coating and painting inspection activities during project execution
- Verify surface preparation activities before coating application
- Monitor coating application processes and ensure compliance with approved procedures
- Conduct dry film thickness (DFT) checks and coating quality inspections
- Review coating inspection reports, test reports, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, coating standards, and client requirements
- Coordinate inspection activities with project teams and client representatives
- Identify coating defects and recommend corrective actions when required
- Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and documentation accurately
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality procedures throughout coating activities
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Science or Engineering
- BGAS-CSWIP Grade 1 or 2 or NACE CIP Level-2 Certification mandatory
- Minimum 10 years of experience for Diploma or Science Degree holders
- Minimum 5 years of experience for Degree Engineering holders
- Strong experience in coating inspection and painting quality control activities
- Knowledge of coating systems, surface preparation, and inspection standards mandatory
- Immediate availability preferred for mobilization
