Responsibilities
- Commissioning Support : Perform mechanical commissioning tasks on pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment.
- Installation & Alignment : Assist in installation, alignment, and testing of mechanical systems and machinery.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Diagnose mechanical faults during commissioning and carry out corrective actions.
- Testing & Verification : Conduct pressure tests, vibration checks, and mechanical integrity verification.
- Documentation : Record test results, prepare commissioning reports, and maintain compliance documentation.
- Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to offshore HSE standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of offshore mechanical installation and commissioning experience.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, alignment charts, and commissioning procedures.
- Familiarity with API, ASME, and NOC standards.
- Mechanical Commissioning Qualification (MDR/Equivalent)
- BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
- Basic H2S Training
- EPCIC Project HSES Induction
