Safety Inspector
Responsibilities:
- Inspect work sites, equipment, and activities to identify safety hazards and unsafe practices.
- Monitor compliance with site HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and PPE standards.
- Check high-risk activities, including lifting, work at height, and confined-space entry.
- Report safety observations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support incident investigations, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare safety reports.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant safety inspection experience; oil and gas or industrial project experience preferred.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
- Knowledge of risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and emergency procedures.
- Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
