Job Description
We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Safety Officer in Qatar . Our client is a reputed organization in the Oil & Gas sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures across project sites.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy and client safety standards.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor permit-to-work and confined space activities.
- Maintain HSE documentation and statutory records.
- Coordinate emergency response and safety drills.
Required Skills
- NEBOSH IGC – Mandatory international safety certification.
- HSE Compliance – Ensure adherence to project safety standards.
- Risk Assessment – Identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Incident Investigation – Analyze and report safety incidents.
- Oil & Gas Safety – Experience in LNG/EPC construction projects.
Preferred Skills
- Qatar Energy project experience.
- LNG project exposure.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates must have 5–8 years of relevant SHE/HSE experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, or large-scale EPC construction projects. Previous experience with Qatar Energy or Qatar Energy LNG projects will be an added advantage.
Education
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
- Preferred: Relevant postgraduate qualification (if any).
- Additional Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate (Mandatory).
