Document Controller - EDMS

Madre Integrated Engineering | Full time

• Manage, control, and maintain all project documents, drawings, correspondence, transmittals, reports, and technical records through the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
  
• Ensure documents are properly registered, numbered, classified, reviewed, distributed, archived, and maintained according to project document control procedures and client requirements.
  
• Coordinate document submissions and approvals between engineering teams, project management, contractors, consultants, vendors, and clients while maintaining accurate document status and revision records.
  
• Monitor document workflows, overdue reviews, approvals, revisions, and transmittals, and generate regular document control reports, registers, trackers, and status updates.
  
• Maintain confidentiality, document traceability, revision control, and proper electronic and physical filing systems while supporting project audits, handover documentation, and final dossier preparation.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of Document Control experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, Infrastructure, or EPC projects in Qatar.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText, Asite, ProArc, or similar systems.
  
• Strong knowledge of document numbering, revision control, transmittals, MDR/document registers, workflows, technical drawings, correspondence, archiving, and project handover documentation.
  
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with strong communication, coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high volumes of project documentation accurately
