QA/QC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities for a major infrastructure programme in Qatar.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project quality requirements and ensuring that engineering and construction activities comply with approved specifications, procedures, standards and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project QA/QC requirements.

• Review Project Quality Plans, ITPs, method statements and quality procedures.

• Conduct and coordinate site inspections.

• Review material approvals, test results and inspection documentation.

• Raise, monitor and close NCRs and corrective/preventive actions.

• Maintain quality records, registers and supporting documentation.

• Conduct quality audits and monitor contractor compliance.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, laboratories and client representatives.

• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with approved drawings/specifications.

• Support testing, commissioning and project handover documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.

• Significant QA/QC experience within civil engineering and infrastructure projects .

• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems .

• Experience with ITPs, NCRs, inspections, audits, method statements and material approvals.

• Roads, drainage, utilities or major public infrastructure experience preferred.

• Qatar/GCC experience highly advantageous.

• Relevant QA/QC certifications advantageous.

• Strong reporting, documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.
