Job Purpose

• Promotion and market development of STATS Products and Services.
• Responsible for developing, maintaining and growing the STATS client base in the allocated region.
• Creating, managing and maintaining CRM data in Sales Hopper.
• Identifying and developing new product opportunities.
• Responsible for collating and building market intelligence and sales strategy.

Directly Reports To

• Head of Sales & BD – Qatar

Internal Relationships

• Operations, Legal and Compliance, Project Team, Management, QHSE, other STATS regions

External Relationships

• Clients, Key Supplier

• Sales Team

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct all business in compliance with company ethics and guidelines.
• Meet with both new and existing clients to promote STATS in the marketplace and expand client awareness of the STATS organization and capabilities.
• Actively promote STATS product range and the relative benefits compared to other products to new and existing clients.
• Arrange and perform site demos of equipment as required.
• Identify market gaps where STATS product range could be expanded or have an alternative use and liaise with the team to exploit the gaps.
• Prepare proposals and budgets for GM approval and to issue to clients.
• Arrange and participate in exhibitions and sales events.
• Travel, attend and participate in internal sales meetings and events.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors and analyse strengths/weaknesses.
• Work toward the allocated sales target, and demonstrate delivery against the target.
• Enter and manage sales opportunities within the Sales Hopper.
• Contribute positively to the Sales & Marketing plan for the allocated territory.
• Complete meeting reports and allocate clear, timed, and measurable follow‑up actions.
• Generate sales visit schedule to demonstrate a planned and organized approach to enhancing relationships with new and existing clients.

• Comply with STATS and client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
• Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses and hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is completed.

Experience, Competence, Skills and Knowledge

• Sales role experience.
• Experience in a similar technical role.
• Engineering background.

Qualifications

• HND or Degree (level 2.1 or higher) in engineering or relevant business experience.

Personal Qualities

• Excellent communicator.
• Good presentation skills.
• Outgoing and engaging with clients.
• Motivated and quick to respond to client requirements.
• Self‑starter who can work autonomously.
• Good commercial skills including numeracy, negotiation and budget preparation.
• Good team player.
