Sales Export Manager

Purpose:
The Export Sales Manager is tasked to successfully achieve sales targets. He Should meet with customers to understand their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company's relationship with them. He should promote a customer focus culture within the company departments, while he is attached to a constant respect of the law and internal rules, Nexans values & Nexans local image.
Areas of responsibility
- Elaborates the export sales development plan based on:
- Results achieved in the past years,
- Company roadmap and trends (customer segmentation, priority targets, etc.),
- Evolutions of product and service offers for each market segment.
- Manages, animates and controls sales according to the defined sales plan.
- Participates in main contracts and negotiations for major customers.
- Supports sales activities by comforting relationship with major accounts
- Creates new opportunities in the zone being covered
- Develops new business through networking and follow-up calls.
- Manages the interface with tendering department by bringing back up information on customers, products, competitors and markets.
- Manages the interface with plants and supply chain for full alignment:
- Review terms and conditions of contracts
- Review payment terms with finance especially when it is a Letter of credit
- keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules... etc.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying Net sweeper Product knowledge to meet those needs.
- Prepare a GMP8 report and TRC presentation for MEGA projects to be presented to management.
Required skills and qualifications
Electrical Engineering degree is preferable
Exposure to cables field, utilities and O&G sector is a plus
Advanced knowledge of the Middle East countries
Has wide sales experience
