.NET Developer – SharePoint
Location: Qatar
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong hands-on expertise in developing, enhancing, and
maintaining enterprise applications using .NET technologies and Microsoft SharePoint. The successful
candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and
user-focused solutions. The role also requires minimum experience in Business Analysis, including
requirements gathering, functional understanding, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using .NET technologies.
• Develop and enhance applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web APIs, and related .NET
frameworks.
• Analyse existing applications and implement enhancements, integrations, and system improvements.
• Develop and support SharePoint-based solutions, including sites, lists, workflows, document management,
and integrations.
• Work with databases and develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and related database
components.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into
technical solutions.
• Participate in requirements gathering, functional analysis, process discussions, and preparation of relevant
technical or functional documentation.
• Work closely with project managers, business users, QA teams, and other technical teams throughout the
SDLC.
• Support system integration, testing, defect resolution, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and application-related documents.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing technical support and maintenance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related
discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in .NET software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web APIs, and .NET-based
enterprise applications.
• Good experience with Microsoft SharePoint, including SharePoint sites, lists, workflows, document
management, APIs, or integrations.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Experience with software development, debugging, testing, deployment, and application maintenance.
• Minimum exposure to Business Analysis activities, including requirements gathering, understanding
business processes, stakeholder discussions, and functional documentation.
• Experience working in an Agile or Waterfall software development environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Profile
Candidates currently based in Qatar with experience in enterprise application development, digital
transformation, system integration, or Microsoft technology environments will be preferred. Arabic language
skills will be considered an advantage.
