IT Infrastructure Specialist/Engineer

The IT Infrastructure Specialist/Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure across Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and on-premises environments. This includes servers, storage, and networking components.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain cloud services (compute, databases, PaaS).
- Manage servers, operating systems, and virtualization.
- Deploy and configure servers/storage on-prem/Azure/GCP.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Optimize storage solutions (cloud and on-prem).
- Configure switches, routers, and basic networking.
- Maintain documentation and generate performance/security reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure.
- Proven experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of servers, virtualization, and storage solutions.
- Basic networking experience (switches, routers).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, SQL, Exchange/O365.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts/on‑call as required.
