Payroll Officer

Job Title: Payroll Officer / Payroll Administrator

Location: Doha, Qatar

Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)

Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 6 days/week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Officer to manage and process employee payroll accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies while maintaining confidentiality and resolving payroll-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees
• Maintain and update payroll records, attendance, and leave data
• Verify timesheets, overtime, deductions, and allowances
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
• Prepare payroll reports and support audits when required
• Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for payroll inputs and updates
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in payroll or a related field
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and MS Excel
• Familiarity with Qatar labor laws and payroll regulations preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field
• Experience with payroll software or ERP systems
