Elevator Safety Officer

Elevator Safety Officer (10–12 Years Experience):
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement HSE policies across elevator installation, modernization, and maintenance projects.
- Ensure full compliance with company HSE procedures, client requirements, and local regulations.
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Develop and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work systems.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training for employees and subcontractors.
- Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe work practices at all project sites.
- Prepare HSE reports, statistics, and documentation for management and clients.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives on all HSE matters.
- Support external audits and ensure continuous improvement of the company's HSE performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC is mandatory; NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is an advantage.
- 10–12 years of HSE experience, with significant experience in the elevator industry.
- Strong knowledge of elevator installation, maintenance, modernization, lifting operations, electrical safety, working at height, and permit-to-work systems.
- Experience managing HSE requirements on multiple projects and leading safety initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills.
- Valid driving license is preferred.

- 10–12 years specifically in the elevator industry.
- NEBOSH IGC (or higher).
- Experience with major elevator companies (e.g., Otis, KONE, Schindler, TK Elevator, Mitsubishi, Fujitec, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Qatar or GCC HSE regulations.
- Proven ability to work independently with clients and authorities.
